August 18, 1994 Unknown Eater Jim Blankinship was impressed with the delicious food at the iconic Poway family restaurant. Owner Zip Lucidi told him with the train rides, it was kind of like a miniature Knott's Berry Farm. The restaurant was decorated with collectibles--Lisa Lucidi said her parents were antique dealers. The restaurant just got a facelift and new owners September 2023.
