City Tacos has 6 San Diego locations and is set to open its 7th next week – OB Playground in Ocean Beach. City Tacos has won Best Taco accolades from Ranch & Coast magazine’s restaurant survey of its readers for four years in a row beginning in 2020. The City Tacos menu features traditional tacos (pollo asado, carnitas, carne asada), caseros “homestyle” tacos (pulled pork with Mayan achiote sauce, beef shank, mahi mahi), and several other meat, seafood, vegetarian, and vegan options. Most of the tacos on the menu are less than $5.00. NOVO serves homemade guacamole that can be found on the menu’s Carne Asada Fries, Carne Asada Nachos, California Burrito, and it can be added to any of the burgers and sandwiches. NOVO has 3 locations in the South Bay, including Imperial Beach on the southern edge of San Diego Bay and in Otay Ranch Town Center. A fourth location is scheduled to open in November at Westfield Mission Valley.
