Adult Programs -
Second Chance helps men and women successfully reenter the workforce and community. Specialized services, training and resources are available to help each person identify their personal goals and the steps to achieving them. This includes maintaining sobriety, securing employment, reunifying with family, pursuing education, among others.
COLLABORATIVE COURT PROGRAMS: Each year, more than nine million people cycle through local jails and more than 700,000 are released from state and federal prisons. Collaborative court programs are designed to assist incarcerated individuals with a successful transition to their community.
JOB READINESS TRAINING: Job Readiness Training provides four weeks of pre-employment attitudinal and soft-skill training, job search, job placement assistance and post-placement services to lead people to permanent employment and self-sufficiency.
HOUSING: Sober-living housing serves as a bridge between treatment and independent living. Each home offers a highly structured environment, a sense of belonging and a safe place to ease back into the community.
Youth Programs -
Second Chance youth programs are focused on helping young people overcome neglect, abuse, criminal backgrounds, addiction and poverty. Personalized programs exist for prevention, support during incarceration and reentry assistance after release.
STRIVE FUTURE LEADERS EDUCATION ADVANCEMENT PARTNERSHIP: STRIVE Future LEAP focuses on addressing educational and employment barriers faced by justice impacted young adults. The program helps young adults develop life skills and in demand occupational skills needed to obtain livable wage jobs.
YOUTH GARDEN: The Youth Garden provides eight-weeks of hands-on urban farming, nutrition classes and workforce training. Youth earn a weekly stipend and gain job readiness skills.
