Description
In honor of National Make a Difference in a Child's Life Month, ten restaurants across San Diego County are teaming up to make a positive impact by pledging to donate a portion of their sales to Feeding San Diego throughout the month of July.
These philanthropic partners aim to support families, children, seniors, veterans, military families, and anyone else facing food insecurity in the community during these challenging times.
Alternative Strategies, a local full-service marketing communications firm, has brought together hospitality clients to support this meaningful cause. The following establishments have joined hands with Feeding San Diego in this initiative:
Arely’s French Bakery: Donating 10% of sandwich and panini sales
Barrio Star: Donating 50% of Barrio Pepino sales
barleymash/ginger’s: Donating $1 from every Champ Burger sold
City Tacos: Donating 50% of portobello mushroom taco sales
Cloak & Petal: Donating 100% of Fo Shisho Roll sales (limited time item)
Jose’s Courtroom: Donating $2 from each carne asada burrito sale
Mavericks Beach Club: Donating 100% of Watermelon Margarita Slushies sales
Quiero Restaurants: Donating 50% of avocado taco sales
Sandbar: Donating $1 from every Chicken Tender order
The Smoking Gun/Spill the Beans: Donating $1 from every Fried Pickle order
To further demonstrate their commitment, staff from the participating restaurants will volunteer at Feeding San Diego in August.
From delectable starters to mouthwatering entrees, tantalizing tacos to sushi delights, there are numerous ways to dine out in July and show support for this organization that is making a significant difference in the San Diego community.
