Description
Although mild, near normal temperatures are expected to start the week, a notable climb in temperatures is expected daily, eventually peaking between 10 and 15 degrees above normal to end it. The heat will mainly be felt east of the coast across our inland valleys, mountains and deserts. Heat related alerts look to take effect inland as early as Tuesday and last through the upcoming weekend. It's not until early next week that we start to see temperatures dip and begin to drop back toward normal.
