Description
An arrest has been made after a San Diego police officer was shot by a suspect that was attempting to steal a car.
J.C. Blake Sartor, 30, was arrested by San Diego Police on Wednesday at around 12:30 p.m. on the 8700 block of Spectrum Center Blvd.
According to police, Sartor had a criminal history and recovered a firearm during the arrest.
San Diego Police Department Chief David Nisleit said Sartor faces multiple charges including attempted murder of a police officer.
Nisleit said he will ask the court to sentence Sartor to the maximum sentence.
