52nd Annual San Diego Greek Festival starts this Weekend
St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church grounds
3655 Park Boulevard, San Diego 92103 (Hillcrest)
Saturday, June 10th 11AM-10PM | Sunday, June 11th 11AM-8PM
General Admission: $3 donation at the entrance
Free Admission for children under 12, Active Military, and First Responders
Come join us for:
· Kids’ Fun Zone – lots of games and crafts for kids, kids enter the festival for free
· Homemade Greek Food: Souvlaki: lamb; gyros (YEE-ros); pastitsio (Greek lasagna topped with bechamel); spanakopita (spa-na-KO-pita); saganaki; and desserts like baklava and loukoumades (the treat that was given to Olympians when the Olympics started)
· Live Music: The Olympian & Takis Bands; Jenny and the Gents; Kompania & friends (Artemis sings for them); Koureloudes
· Dancing: Folk dance performances, and hoping you’ll dance with us!
· Greek Beer Garden; Oracle Wine Lounge; and liquor – OUZO! (shots?)
· Greek deli (come buy Greek cheeses, olives, olive oil and more)
· Shopping vendors (find a wide selection of jewelry, clothing, art and more)
· Opportunity Drawing: Cash prizes and gas cards
PARKING - Park for free at the SD Unified School District Lot at 4301 Campus Ave (off Normal), and take the shuttle to the festival. The shuttle runs every 10 minutes during festival hours.
