Law enforcement agencies across the state are cracking down on drunk driving. Chula Vista police say they arrested four people at a DUI checkpoint on North Fourth Avenue over the weekend. Three for driving under the influence of alcohol and one under the influence of drugs. The California Highway Patrol has reported a total of 314 arrests for driving under the influence across the state. That's up more than 70 from this time last year.
