Description
For the month of June, Tyler is launching his Upcycled Food Series menu in San Diego shops (and online for national shipping) available starting Friday, May 26th, which features flavors in partnership with brands focused on reducing food waste in the US. This is the first menu fully certified upcycled by the Upcycled Food Association. Tyler can talk about his inspiration for the series and how wasted food is a delicious problem that can be solved using innovative approaches, and he can demo one of the flavors, including:
Cacao Pulp & Chocolate Stracciatella Gelato: Cacao gelato striped with ribbons of melt-in-your-mouth dark chocolate stracciatella, made with Blue Stripes Cacao.
Malted Chocolate Barley Milk (V): Chocolate and fig ice cream infused with upcycled barley milk, made with Evergrain.
Day-Old Bread Pudding & Chocolate Ganache: Custard bread pudding ice cream topped with bites of housemade chocolate ganache, made with Urban Gleaners
Salted Caramel & Okara Cupcakes (V): Bits of dark chocolate cupcakes made with okara flour folded into a salted oat milk ice cream, made with Renewal Mills
Lemon Curd & Whey: Creamy salted whey ice cream with a ribbon of tangy lemon curd, made with Spare Food Co.
