Description
May 16, 1989 On CBS 8's 40th birthday the Sun Up gang reunited. Kathy Diamant and Jerry G. Bishop welcomed back the original team. Bob Mills brought the show to San Diego from Oklahoma in 1960. He hired Raquel Tejada (Welch) to do the weather. She wasn't here long--under a year. Mel Knoepp, Sue White, Duane 'Shane' Schirmer reminisced about the show in the 1960s. Danuta joined Jerry G in 1978 and left to join the 700 Club in 1983. The show ended on August 19, 1990.
