Name: Munty
Age: 11-months
Weight: 50-pounds
Gender: Male
Breed: Shepherd mix
Munty was picked up as a stray. A good Samaritan took him to an animal shelter in Riverside County. He didn’t like being cooped up there. After a week he was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through Friends of County Animal Shelters (FOCAS.)
He went into foster care in the home of trained volunteers. It didn’t take long for them to figure out that Munty does not like being confined to small spaces. That means no leaving him in a crate when you’re away from home.
He really needs company. Munty needs a home where someone from his family will be with him all the time, or there’s another dog to keep him company.
The adoption fee for Munty includes medical exam, neuter, up to date vaccinations, registered microchip, and a one-year license if his new home is in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society.
