There has been a turning point for the new Harbor Island—the first new restaurant Reuben's has opened for business. Reuben's is one of two being built on Harbor Island at a cost of more than 1.5 million dollars by the Far West Services Incorporated of Newport Beach. The one opened yesterday was built on pilings over the water on the south side and at the east end of the island. The other restaurant is a replica of a Mississippi River boat and it’s still under construction.
