Northbound lanes of Interstate 5 in Carlsbad were shut down Thursday afternoon while police worked to bring a pursuit suspect into custody. Carlsbad Police Department told CBS 8 that a pursuit that ended around 12:35 p.m. near Poinsettia Lane left all northbound lanes closed due to "ongoing police activity."
