San Diego Sheriff's Department confirmed to CBS 8 that San Ysidro basketball star Michael Williams was arrested Thursday on five charges of assault with a deadly weapon.
CBS 8 learned that a suspect named Michael Anthony Williams was booked into San Diego Central Jail around 3:30 p.m. on April 13.
