Mist to light rain will persist on Thursday as a dense marine layer leads to overcast conditions, especially through the a.m. hours. By the afternoon, forecast high temperatures will remain much cooler than normal, but there's a chance that the clouds break apart a bit and give a small glimmer of sunshine. Moving into the weekend, skies will clear and temperatures will warm slightly as a ridge of high pressure builds. Wind speeds will also decline through the day.
