Saturday, March 11
Irish Festival: 9 am - 6 pm
Parade steps off at 10:30am on Fifth Avenue at Laurel Street
Parade Chairman Sean Walsh is excited to celebrate three very important parts of our Irish community here in San Diego: Celtic Culture, Commerce, and Community.
For the parade, you will see dignitaries and honorees, floats, high school marching bands, police and fire department units, Irish community groups, dancing groups, equestrian units, clowns, antique cars, Irish setters, and more. Then, enjoy a fun day at the festival for the whole family!
Throughout the day, roam about the festival to enjoy craft and vending booths for an assortment of items, food booths, and Irish dance and music from our two stages.
This year we are presenting a combined “all-ages” festival and beer garden event.
Entry to the festival is a low $5 per adult 21 and over. Active duty military with I.D. are free.
