Gregory Peck was here for the To Kill a Mockingbird world premiere. Dennis Hopper was attending two premieres. Jayne Mansfield was starring in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes at the Circle Arts Theater. Carol Channing was starring in Hello, Dolly! at the Civic Theatre.
