1 in 3 San Diegans and almost 40% of children in San Diego are food insecure. +Box provides weekly boxes of nutrient-rich foods for food insecure students and their families. Launched in April 2020, +BOX (PlusBox) fights food insecurity by delivering reliable access to healthy food to our food insecure neighbors. We do that by working alongside school districts to distribute boxes of fresh, healthy, nutrient rich foods to students and their families.
