Description
A high-wind warning is in place for the mountains and inland valleys, while a high-wind advisory is now in effect for coastal San Diego County. The warning and advisory will remain until 10 pm Thursday, January 26.
Thursday morning traffic along I-8 Eastbound past Alpine was backed up for miles. California Highway Patrol said officers were turning semi trucks and motorcycles around because the wind was too dangerous.
