Overnight showers tapered off from late Thursday into Friday and now a solid stretch of dry weather is in the forecast. This will be the longest break from rain and mountain snow that California has had so far this year. Cold overnight low temperatures can still be expected but sunshine will prevail by the late morning as temperatures attempt to regulate themselves. Highs will be below normal for Friday afternoon and the weekend, but a slow warm up is expected through most of next week.
