Rain and wind returned to the forecast on Tuesday morning as an atmospheric river continues to drench California. Light to moderate bands of scattered showers began early Tuesday morning and will continue through the day with a chance of thunderstorms by the afternoon and evening. While other parts of the state have already seen several inches of accumulating rain, San Diego is only expected to see between .50" and 1.00" with some localized spots (mainly across north county) expecting up to 1.50" by the end of the day Tuesday.
