Description
These recent storms have brought a downpour of rain to our region and snow to the mountains.
Showers will return late Monday into early Tuesday in a widespread fashion and then more intermittent and spotty through the day Tuesday. This first atmospheric river of the new year is expected to be less impactful with only about half an inch of rain expected.
The second of the two storms will come through the afternoon and evening Thursday with a slightly bigger impact as models project closer to .75" and perhaps even a full inch. As of Monday, it appears neither of these storms this week will reach the impact of the NYE into NYD storm (this past Saturday into Sunday).
