Two new trustees will join the San Diego Unified School District Board of Education after being sworn into office Monday during a special meeting. In the November, school board election, Shana Hazan was elected to office by voters in sub-district B, and Dr. Cody Petterson was elected in sub-district C. Members of the Board of Education are elected by voters in their geographic sub-districts, and represent the district for a term of four years.
