Starlight Nights and Holiday Market Presented by Grasshopper | Downtown Chula Vista Association • Ring in the holidays with Downtown Chula Vista’s Starlight Nights presented by Grasshopper on Sunday, December 4th from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm, with opening remarks for the tree lighting ceremony beginning promptly at 6:15pm. • As one of the first celebrations of the festive season, the City of Chula Vista and Downtown Chula Vista will bring holiday cheer by hosting an array of fun activities! • This year’s festivities include a holiday market, Chula Vista Express trackless train, and photos with Santa, all while enjoying live music from the main stage at Memorial Park and music vignette at Third & F Courtyard • The Holiday Market, curated by Las Jefas Market, is the perfect place to shop from local businesses for holiday gifts. For Santa’s little elves, children can hop on the Chula Vista Express at Third & Park for a spin around Downtown Chula Vista and take official holiday photos with Santa himself for free • This year, Mmm…Cakes and Standlee’s is also hosting the first annual Starlight Nights Gingerbread House Contest. Mmm…Cakes and Standlee’s have partnered together to bring all the tools and supplies that contestants will need to build their house.
