Some have said with so many people leaving, the social media giant won't survive. Since the exodus began, the hashtag #riptwitter has been trending. The loss of employees comes after Musk gave them an ultimatum-either take on more work with longer hours by 5:00 p.m. Thursday, or resign with severance pay. Some sources estimate more than a thousand people quit.
