A weak ridge of high pressure remains over Southern California. It has kept us dry and mostly clear with the combo of chilly mornings and cool afternoon highs. As a trough of low pressure sweeps through the West, expect more high clouds added to the scenery as the high weakens. Mild conditions are expected with sunshine and highs mainly in the 60s along the coast and inland. These conditions will be on repeat through the weekend. The passage of the low will cause west winds to pick up on Saturday. Strongest on Sunday, gusts will be up to 45 mph favoring the mountains and the desert.
