A three-alarm fire near the Potiker senior apartments in East Village left one person with burn injuries and prompted about 50 residents to evacuate Wednesday morning. The fire was reported just before 4:30 a.m. near Market Street and 14th Street, officials said. Around 100 firefighters responded to the incident. The fire ignited at the Red Barn warehouse, which serves as the home to a pedicab business, officials said.
