Description
Kevin Templeton from Barleymash and Steve Billings from Original 40 Brewing Company talked about the contest and the great chili offered.
The Original 40 Brewing Company is named after the original 40 acres of land that made up North Park in 1893. Over the last three years, they have perfected both their beer brewing process and their homemade chili recipe. Homemade and topped with cotija cheese and poblano corn crema, The Original 40 Brewing Company knows what you need for a chilly National Chili Month.
Located in the Gaslamp, barleymash has been brewing beers and homemade chili for a decade now. Chef Kevin Templeton’s five chili chili is a favorite among locals and tourists who come downtown for elevated American fare. Their house made five chili turkey chili is cooked to perfection and topped with a three-cheese blend, sour cream, green onion, and crispy tobacco onion.
