March 15, 1983 Old Town Mexican Cafe is a favorite with everyone, including our Unknown Eater, Bob Rockstroh. He said even though it was located near a tourist trap, prices were reasonable--dinner for two cost around twelve dollars. Margaritas $2--what a deal. He was very impressed with the food. No wonder--it's an iconic restaurant and the lines to get in are still long and worth the wait. It might be a tourist trap, but locals love it too.
