Description
Celebrating 25 years, the San Diego Chapter of Mental Health of America hosted its annual Meeting of the Minds Behavioral Health Conference the morning of Wednesday, October 12.
The theme was “The Evolution of Wellness and Community Care: 25 Years."
CBS 8’s Marcella Lee had the honor of serving as emcee and welcoming clinicians and mental health providers.
Keynote speaker Judi Holder shared her inspiring journey from entering court ordered psychiatric care decades ago to now serving as Director of Community and Youth Services at NAMI San Diego.
Organizers say with domestic violence, suicide, and substance abuse rates all up, mental health providers are needed more than ever.
