Description
September 18, 1986
“Some of the best Mexican food in town.” Las Cuatro Milpas in Barrio Logan on Logan Avenue has been serving up delicious Mexican food since 1933. Jim Blankinship was the new Unknown Eater in 1986 and he snuck in and sampled favorites like chorizo and chicken burrito. The prices were downright cheap—two main dishes and a soft drink for less than 3 dollars. And as was the way of the Unknown Eater, he returned to shoot the story. It was the best way to get honest food reviews. It’s an iconic San Diego restaurant—standing the test of time. Natividad Estudillo.
