Description
A morning marine layer will fill in the coastal basin before the sun rises on Thursday. Morning low clouds and fog could keep temperatures in the mid 60s for a good portion of the morning before they peak in the below-normal range. Sunshine will prevail by afternoon, however, giving a break from overcast skies that start the day. Humidity will stay elevated Thursday, but slightly drier than Wednesday.
Wednesday kicked off the cooling trend as temperatures peaked below normal across the county with a larger difference felt inland. For the rest of the morning, a patchy marine layer of low clouds and fog in spots will be on repeat. A modest dip in the jet stream will keep ushering in cooler and drier air. Daytime highs will peak near to below seasonal tomorrow and stay that way for much of the week with passing clouds.
