March 14, 1974 Prince Charles arrived in San Diego on board the British frigate ship H.M.S Jupiter. He was a communications officer holding the rank of Lieutenant. TV 8’s Kathleen Parker was there as the ship pulled into the foggy harbor. They were in town from the 14th through the 20th. The ship is here for a week-long goodwill visit.
