This was the latest information as of Aug 31 at 3:57 p.m.: A wildfire east of the Dulzura area in the far southern reaches of San Diego County has burned 100 to150 acres and has destroyed one structure Wednesday afternoon. Two temporary evacuation points are being set up at these locations: Potrero County Park located at 24800 Potrero Park Drive and Jamul Casino located at 14145 Campo Rd. The blaze erupted for unknown reasons at about 2:30 p.m. off Barrett Lake Road, near state Route 94 in the Barrett Junction area, roughly three miles north of the U.S.-Mexico border, according to Cal Fire.
