Scripps Pier on Point Loma dedication ceremony in San Diego. Scripps Institution of Oceanography built it to dock their nine research vessels. They were giving away free food, so the lines were long but TV 8’s Cathy Clark managed to get her fair share. She thoroughly enjoyed her lunch while waiting for the ceremony to begin. Apparently, it didn’t start when expected and perhaps she had another assignment--so the story about a dedication ceremony--where a champagne bottle stood ready to break on the pier—is a story about Cathy enjoying free lunch. Her pants are totally groovy don’t you think?
