September 19, 1976 Loggins and Messina Farewell tour at the San Diego Sports Arena One of America’s top rock groups, Loggins and Messina, made one of their final appearances in San Diego. TV 8’s Gene Gleeson got backstage to chat with the superstar musicians. They told him about their future plans but not why they were breaking up after their super successful five year run as a duo.
