In July 2004, San Diego newcomers Marcella Lee and her husband Tony were getting to know their new hometown. They loved taking their dogs to Coronado's dog beach, snorkeling in La Jolla, and the Chinese grocery store 99 Ranch Market. Chief photojournalist Kenny McGregor accompanied them to their favorite spots and shot and edited this living postcard of America's Finest City. Marcella and Tony have called San Diego home for the past 18 years. They can’t imagine a better place to raise their 16-year-old twins, who are San Diego natives!
