August 1958
The good old days were brought back to folks at Coronado when members of the Model A Restorers Club gathered at East Plaza Park for their annual meeting. Members brought their Model A Fords, and judges looked them over—all 35 of them—and awarded trophies for some of the outstanding models. The Model A was put out by Ford from 1928-1931. If you can remember driving one of these old relics, you’ve covered a lot of mileage, in more ways than one. Owners usually wear styles of bygone days and there were even a few pair of knickers.
