Description
Thursday: Partly sunny, light winds and warm. High near 70. SE 5-10.
Friday: Mostly to partly sunny, windy and warmer. High in the mid 70s. S 10-20.
Another well-above normal day Thursday, with light breeze and very warm temperatures.
And skies should be clear late Thursday night just after midnight, as the moon will turn into a bloody/orange color. The Earth will block the sun from reaching the moon, causing a "blood moon" to appear! But...you'll need to head outside in the middle of the night to see it!
Friday will be quite warm and breezy and dry, with temperatures in southern parts of the viewing area having a shot at 80°! (record high for Columbus Friday is 78° set in 2012).
As the powerful early spring storm pushes east Friday and Saturday, we'll have the chance of a few showers early in the day. But it's looking like a better chance of more rain & storms late afternoon and again overnight into Sunday.
The greatest threat will be overnight Saturday, with potentially disruptive weather (rain, wind and a few storms) occurring while we're sleeping.
Morning showers will hang around early Sunday, and as the system moves out Monday, it will be followed by a few dry and mild days into midweek.
Temperatures will be quite a bit cooler early next week too (but still above normal)!
