"Rather than making the French and Europeans bear the cost of supporting Ukraine and rearming Europe, let us first make the Russians pay by using their own assets," says former French Prime Minister and president of Renaissance, Gabriel Attal, at the opening of a summit in Paris. The event brought together around sixty centrist European leaders to draft a joint declaration in favour of seizing Russian assets to support Ukraine and its accession to the EU.
