Description
Hundreds of demonstrators in El Salvador protest against a new metal mining law and demand the release of deported Venezuelan migrants from the United States now detained in El Salvador during a march in memory of murdered archbishop Oscar Arnulfo Romero.
During the protest, environmental activists take a petition with more than 50,000 signatures to the Supreme Court to demand that they rule the new metal mining law as unconstitutional.
Lawyers representing the detained Venezuelan migrants also file a habeas corpus to challenge the legality of their detention IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
