Former French president Nicolas Sarkozy and some of the 11 other defendants in the case enter the courtroom at the Paris courthouse, where the trial over illegal campaign financing from Libya before Sarkozy's 2007 election is underway. Sarkozy, in an unprecedented punishment for a former president, is now wearing an electronic ankle tag after France's Court of Cassation in December upheld a verdict for him to serve a one-year jail term outside of prison with the GPS device.
