Description
After some late day showers moved through on Tuesday, we are tracking much more sunshine for your Wednesday!
Expect sunny skies to kick off your day, with temps warming up into the low 50s this afternoon. Winds will be a little breezy, with gusts possibly as high as 20 mph this afternoon. Late in the afternoon and into the evening clouds will start to build once again, and some light isolated showers may form around the region.
Overnight temps will only fall to the mid-40s with mostly to partly cloudy skies. A few light showers are possible, but many will be dry. Thursday will start of bright & dry, with a slightly above normal afternoon forecast. With this hint of warming air, we'll also have an increasing chance of rain. Clouds will increase during the afternoon with scattered showers becoming possible by the second half of the day. Highs are expected in he upper 50s.
Showers and possibly a storm become more likely on Friday, with the latest model trend moving most of the rain out by evening. I would keep your Friday plans for now, but stay tuned and have a backup plan. Saturday puts much of Ohio in the 'warm sector', which normally leads to breezy and warm weather, with only a slight chance of rain. I think this will make Saturday the pick of the weekend, with highs in the 70s.
As the entire weather system begins to shift eastward on Sunday and into Sunday night, we'll see an increase in the wind, rain and storms. At this time, still 5 days out, details on the threat for strong storms aren't clear, but late Sunday into Sunday night is certainly looking like a time to stay weather aware as strong storms are possible.
As soon as the 10 Weather Impact team has more information, we'll pass it along to you.
