Get ready for the ultimate culinary showdown, where talented chefs and ruthless contenders use their cooking, strategy and survival skills as they battle to claim the culinary throne.
That is the recipe for the Food Network’s sharp new cooking competition series House of Knives. James Beard Award-winning chef Scott Conant and eight-time James Beard Award winner Marcus Samuelsson join our Laura Cavanaugh to share what fans can expect to see in this Game of Thrones-style competition series where only the strong survive.
Top tier chefs compete for their seat on the culinary throne. In the end, the winner wears the culinary crown and goes home with $100,000 cash.
Fans will want to tune in to watch San Diego’s own Chef Claudette Zepeda compete as El Machete, putting her own spice and twist on modern Mexican-American cuisine. You’ll want to watch House of Knives to see how she slashes the competition.
“There were a few moments, more than a few moments, where we had gotten Claudette’s food and there was just silence. There was so much emotion in that food, what ends up being, honestly, world-class cuisine,” said Conant, who is the host of the show.
“We were just so privileged to have her food and she repped the city very, very well.” Said Samuelsson, who serves on the Game of Thrones Culinary Council.
There is never a dull moment on House of Knives. Tune in to watch who will rise, who will fall and who will reign supreme on House of Knives every Tuesday on the Food Network and stream the next day on MAX.
