A section of a major roadway along Tacoma's waterfront will be closed until at least Thursday morning after a landslide overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. "We were notified right around midnight last night, and crews started mobilizing into the area to close the roadway that we had a landslide down," said Matt Fengler, the Public Works Department Assistant Division Manager with the City of Tacoma. The 4100 block of Marine View Drive is where the landslide occurred, just down the road from the entrance to the Chinook Landing Marina.
