The Washington State Patrol (WSP) has received multiple reports this month of rocks being thrown from overpasses onto I-5 in greater Tacoma. Two of the incidents happened between Fife and Joint Base Lewis-McChord, a WSP public information officer said. Another incident was reported in Tacoma, near the interchange where I-5 and State Route 16 come together. Croix Frigo said he was on his way to work in Seattle on Wednesday, Jan. 8, when he ran over something, which forced him to pull over.
