Two suspects have been arrested and charged related to a 2023 drive-by shooting in Gig Harbor. Police now believe the suspects were retaliating over the 2021 killing of their friend, Tyrone Sero. Two victims initially contacted the Gig Harbor Police Department on June 6, 2023, to report that they had been followed and shot at after leaving a restaurant. A 17-year-old girl called 911 to report that she and her brother had been fired upon by multiple people who chased them back to their neighborhood. No one was injured during the incident, but the victim's vehicle was struck multiple times by gunfire.
