Computer scientists and doctors at the University of Washington have found a way for artificial intelligence to deter a concerning incidence in healthcare: medication errors. Errors in administering injectable medicine in particular, account for an estimated 1.2 million hospitalizations a year in the U.S., according to a study published in the American Health & Benefits journal.
