Police are searching for a suspect in a fatal hit-and-run in Shoreline that took place before 10 p.m. Wednesday night. A driver was headed eastbound on state Route 523 when they struck a pedestrian who was crossing the roadway. The pedestrian, who was identified as a 23-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has been withheld until her family can be notified.
