Description

A toddler was killed in a wrong-way crash on state Route 18 in Covington Monday afternoon. According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the crash happened in the eastbound lanes near the Southeast 256th Street exit around 3:30 p.m. Troopers say a 19-year-old driver going westbound crossed the median into the eastbound lanes and hit another car. A 21-month-old in that car died. The drivers were airlifted to Harborview Medical Center.
